I was pissed off that I didn't get to catch it... I was racing this weekend so I had to record it, and freaking baseball delayed it and I didn't get to watch it!! I have 30 minutes of recorded junk (in my opinion), then 30 minutes of drag racing and they must have showed her near the end of the segment, because I couldn't find it...

I had my DVR set to record it. When Sports Center or whatever it was ran 30 minutes into the show it knocked the end of the race off for me because the DVR stopped on time but the show ddn't.

Big Mike told me DT looked whipped in that segment. Nancy carried the load.

Hey Dennis, in addition to being a great competitor, supplying top notch safety equipment, you're also quite the ESPN 2 Spokes Person.

Our ESPN2 had Nascar Today run over and the first pass I saw was Sean & Clint. Figured since it ran so late, they wouldn't air it, but they did, and this time, we actually saw it.

Wow its a good thing I did not set my dvd recorder for sunday. Sounds like espn likes to screw over the sportsman show as well because nascar is more important(ya right).I said it before and I will say it again espn does not care about the NHRA. If the NHRA wants to grow I hope they will do something about it with HD partners for next year other wise they will go down hill and hope that does not happen beacause dragracing kicks nascar ass.One more thing to add get rid of that lame duck Paul Page for next year bring back Marty Reid Congrats to Nancy Matter and team.

 

Thanks espn for the great t.v. coverage of the richmond race. Lets hope we can start on time on sunday. Thats twice in one night you could not start the qualif show on time the first @7:00 sat night then the repeat show sunday morning @1:00 a.m.. I set my dvd recorder for the two airings and recorded a bunch of bull---- in my eyes thanks guys. Maybe its time the NHRA should look for different network broadcast on. The NHRA they won't get screw over as much.

 

Some one should invent a vcr/dvd recorder that is voice actovated,Sunday, sunday, racewaypark, and it starts recording, don't laugh if I can think of it, then some one else smarter than me can make it. lol lol lol

 

and when the commercial comes on for the next Nascar race and they say "tune in Sunday for coverage at _____ Raceway Park"... I think you would just hit yourself...

Paul Page should not be aloud to talk about nascar/nextel race during the broadcast of the NHRA. If he wants to do so put that lame duck over the boring side of racing where he belongs.

 

Personnally, I would like to see the NHRA Commercials during the nascar coverage, Summit, Torco, Lend America, any of them, Especially the upcoming World Finals at Pomona During Talladega or any other left turn race would help a lot rather than just during the ESPN 2 pro coverage of our sport.

Maybe these are some of the things that ESPN2 and HD Partners have in the agenda for their gobs and gobs of meetings

Diff between NASCAR and NHRA

Some racers drive around in circles all day looking for the finish line.

The rest of us drive straight to it.
