I have a question about rotor positioning on a pro mag 44 on a hemi funny car . we usually set the timing by loosening the band clamp and turning the top of the mag to set the timing .
I set the timing mark at 28 degrees btdc and removed the cap . the rotor is just getting to the post on the cap . Is there an adjustment to phase the rotor closer to the center of the post ? My small block chevy has an adjustable rotor and I swap on a cap with a hole over #1 and can check and adjust the position with a timing light . The rotor on the pro mag is not movable . we do not run a 6 shooter . thanks for an info .
