MSD 8 vs 10 Plus

    Which is better on natural aspirated Alcohol,Msd says 8 conventional box
    is good but 10 plus is more modern and more powerful. Seems the older 10 boxes gave trouble, has that been fixed with the new 10 plus?

    I have not seen any problems with the 10 box. A lot of guys never change their ignition wires and blame in on the box.

    The 10 box delivers 700 MilliJoules of spark energy which is twice the MSD 8's 345 MilliJoules. A ProMag 12 has 300 MilliJoules and a ProMag 44 has 950 MJs. So you can see that both the 8 and 10 are powerful and the 8 is more than enough power for your use. The big advvantage of the 10 is that it can be Digitally Programed by the 8977 Multi-Function Digiat Programmer Box which basically gives you all the programable features of the Digital 7.
