Mint BAE .500 Short Deck cast block

I have a mint condition .500 Short Deck cast block

I found this block in the loft of Lee Callaway's shop. Was bought new by James Thompson around 2000-2001, sold to Callaway in 2002, ran for a year and has sat up in his shop ever since (he switched to Billet blocks).

This block would be roughly equivalent of a KB stage 10.

This block has no windows, a saddle on No. 5 main and minor deck repair done by BAE.

Currently has 4.375 sleeves with surface rust. I could have the sleeves overbored and finish honed, you would just need to put a custom piston to match the finish bore. Or I could install new 4.375 or smaller sleeves. If desired, I could machine the registers to fit a 4.4675 bore sleeve.

$2850 with new 4.375 sleeves
$2250 with overbore/honed sleeves
$2000 as is.
