Milling piston for valve clearance

    What is the minimum ring land to valve pocket clearance when milling a piston.

    Fred Mandolini has told us when we did ours that .250 was bare minimum. He wants to see .300 if possible, otherwise the heat melts it and you blow it out into the wall and it goes boom.
