LODRS 2-5 Reynolds, Ga -- As the 2010 drag racing season is coming to a close, the Ryco Hydraulics Top Alcohol Funny Car Team of Mickey Ferro knows that the season isn’t over until their last pass in Pomona at the Automobile Club NHRA World Finals.

This past weekend at Silver Dollar Raceway, Ferro’s Team got one step closer for his repeat performance of the Lucas Oil Division 2 Championship by winning the event.

“We were so blessed that our car was running consistent 5.50’s every pass” noted Ferro. “Jay Payne’s FireIce Team is one of the best in the Country and it really was a huge win for our team and our sponsors.

“Anthony Terenzio made all the right calls for the car for every pass, I can’t even begin to tell you how lucky I am to have what I feel, is one of the best crews out there” Ferro concluded.

With the Division 2 Championship yet to be decided, it is still a very tight race between Ferro and accomplished racer Jay Payne.

The Ryco Hydraulics / Green Stuff team will finish off their season competing at the last three races of the year, Vegas, Vegas and Pomona. Currently, the sit #2 in the National Points standing, and are holding on to 1st place in Division 2.
