The Snyder Motorsports Race Team will head to Gateway Int’l Raceway this weekend for the Division 3 Lucas Oil Divisional Series event. The defending event champions are looking to repeat and gain some ground on their opponents in the Divisional points chase.

“We had a good week off. We spent most of the time in the shop getting things repaired and ready for the next three weeks of racing. It wasn’t all work though, we also got a chance to spend some time with family and friends on the 4th lighting off fireworks. And Dad actually gave me the day off for my birthday last Saturday,” said driver Mick Snyder.

The Knoll Gas – Torco Racing Fuels / Powersource Transportation sponsored Team is looking for their first win of the 2007 season. A win this weekend could also give them momentum heading into the next two weeks of the divisional swing.

“It seems like just when we get one thing figured out something else goes wrong. This is a very good team and we haven’t forgotten how to win. It is only a matter of time till we get on a roll. We are going to keep working hard and see what happens. I have a good feeling about this weekend.”

On Friday evening, the Team will make their first qualifying pass at 6 PM. They will continue to qualify on Saturday with passes at 6 PM and 9 PM. On Sunday, eliminations begin around 1 PM. For up to date coverage of the event please log onto www.dragracecentral.com.
