    Snyder Ready for Joliet

Mick Snyder and the Snyder Motorsports Race Team sponsored by Powersource Transportation will head to Joliet this weekend for the NHRA National event. It is the second race in a three week swing for the Team from DeMotte, IN.

Snyder, who qualified number two last weekend in Topeka, KS, is looking forward to seeing if some of the changes they made to the car will help their performance.

“We have made some really good laps in this car, but we continue to have untimely parts breakage on the car. Hopefully, this weekend we will be able to put it all together and get some luck on our side too,” said Snyder.

“This is our home race. Our shop is only about an hour or so from here so we get a lot of friends and family coming out to support us. It is also the Jeg’s All-Star race so the best of the best throughout the country come out to race. We have been in the winner’s circle here before, this is where I won my first National event, it would be great to be standing there again on Sunday.”

Time trails start on Friday with runs at 12:30 and 4:30. The final qualifying shot will be on Saturday morning at 9 am. Eliminations will begin on Sunday morning.

    Quick Facts
