    Snyder Heads to Brainerd

For the third straight weekend, the Snyder Motorsports Race Team will be heading out on the road. After attending two back-to-back divisional events where they earned one win and ran low et of each event, they will finish out the three race swing in Brainerd, Minnesota at the Lucas Oil Nationals.

“This Powersource Transportation car is running well right now and we feel like we are in the position to be very competitive this weekend. We really like coming up here; one of our favorite events of the year. The track is good and the fans are unlike anywhere else on the circuit. If we can get a little luck on our side I think we will have a good shot at it,” said driver Mick Snyder.

“Brainerd is just one of those tracks that you always seem to come away with a memorable story from the weekend. The zoo is usually good for at least a couple of those every year. One year, my chutes didn’t blossom and I ended up taking a trip on the road course at the end of the track and we runnered-up here in 2005 so maybe this will be the year we take it all the way to the winner’s circle.”

Qualifying for the event begins on Friday at 1:30 PM and continues with the second attempt coming at 4:30 PM. The final attempt will be at 1 PM on Saturday and first round of eliminations will be held at 4:15 Saturday afternoon. Eliminations will continue on Sunday following the first pro session.
