Will, I agree with your post. But I must admit that I haven't seen much bickering so to speak here lately. Maybe I'm missing it?

 

Will, I think your over-reacting a bit. A computer is for entertainment purposes. If people can't enjoy it then why have one? Where was there a cheap shot taken on this site? My post simply made people who might be interested aware of something on another site. What is wrong with that? If you don't want other sites plugged on yours then say so and I can respect that. You said you won't let this be turned into a place that takes cheap shots, personal attacks or bullshit. Well, the topic you deleted did not do any of those things. There was no slam of any racer in my post so why did you take exception to it? It was for informational purposes only. As you should know by now , people are interested in a variety of things, I simply gave them another option. I didn't do any of the things you so aggressively spoke about. If your argument was strictly about plugging other web-sites I would apoligize and respect your wishes.

You say this board talks about issues relevant to alcohol racing. I know the issue I raised was one of the biggest issues in alcohol racing to date. Why it's not open for discussion I don't know.

I am assuming that this was all in reference to my post. I work 2nd shift and did not see any responses to my topic because I didn't get home until 11p.m. Maybe someone responded inappropriately and I missed it. If that is the case, I apologize. I try very hard to stay objective and not degrade anyone. If this is all in response to my original topic , I guess I would say I'm disappointed.

Topics are like anything else, if your not interested then don't respond. After all, the name of this site is "inside" topalcohol and the subject is the "pit buzz" I would say my topic qualified under those guidelines.

OK Will. I figured out what all the fuss was about. I didn't realize my original topic got a bunch of stuff started. I thought you were taking exception to my subject, I didn't know things got out of hand after I went to work. I posted a new topic, shut off my computer and went to work. I got home around 11 P.M. and when I checked the board my topic was gone and I read your post. I assumed you were pissed at me for my topic. Since my last post I have spoken with someone who enlightened me about what went down, so I apologize for sounding upset and I hope I didn't offend you.

I'd say you sound like to competition number should be 513.

I'm new to this sport and i can't tell you how valuable this board is. Last year at Hawleys tech course this board was recommended by Ron Swearingen an I have been checking in ever since, this has to be alot of work for you and your cohorts so I hope that I can thank you for running this site on behalf of all users.
