Mert was in a nasty reck on the way to Vegas today let's all pray that he and crew will be okay. They had to cut him out of the truck but I hear he is okay. 50 plus cars and trucks involved. Not a April fool's joke.

 

Let us know if you hear anything that is news please. Hope he is OK.

 

Just read on another site. He is ok, out of the truck, but his truck is junk. I haven't heard anything about the trailer and or car. It sounds like his crew is ok also.

 

JUST SAW MERT ON FOX NEWS HIS HAND WHERE TAPED, HE LOOKS OKAY HE WAS UNLOCKING THE TRAILER DOOR ON THE NEWS CHECKING THE CAR I ASSUME. HIS TRUCK IS DEMOLISHED ..LEE AND CREW LOOKED OKAY!!!THANK GOD!!!

 

I saw another film clip. The truck is junk, buried under a semi. The trailer looked ok. Merts was shown on TV and and was moving around. Glad they are ok!!!!

We just got back home. Everyone is ok. sore, bloody, banged up but alive. Truck is totaled.
We had the trailer flatbeded back to the shop, probably totaled too, Race Car- can't tell yet.
Mert took the worst of it, but is still here to talk about it. Obviosly we won't be at Las Vegas. Robert Reehl is a life saver and came and got us. Thanks everyone !!!!

 

material things can always be replaced. thank god everyone is still here to talk about it. god bless guys.

Hey Mert,Lee,Brad and crew, we're all happy to hear that no one in your group was injured badly. Was the trailer damaged on the driver's side? From what I could see on the short shot on Fox news, the passenger's side looked ok, but like I said it was a small amount of time. Anyway, best of luck from all at the Niver camp. Take care.

we got alot of the stuff out of the trailer today, and some of the carnage out of the way, the basic sructure of the trailer looks pretty well intact, but hard to say at this point until somebody sees it that knows trailer construction better than us, needless to say it was a real mess inside!

 

I'm glad you guys are all OK. Sorry to see you have to go through something like that.
