Hi all, I have some spare inputs on my data logger and am wondering where the best point is to measure fuel pump pressure is and also if there is value in measuring it before and after the BV. This is for a blown alcohol BB Chevy. Thanks Graham

    fuel pressure location

If you measure it before the barrel valve, you will get high readings from part throttle operation such as during a burnout or lifting for tire shake, or part throttle lineups and starts in circle car & boat racing. If you measure it after the barrel valve, you will get pressure to the nozzles that is what the engine sees. Pressure before the barrel valve is sometimes used in addition as a measure of fuel pump performance.

    All the best,
