MARTIN LOOKING TO CLINCH 7.0 TITLE AT SACTO

Sacramento, Calif. – Defending NHRA Heritage Series 7.0 Pro champion Will Martin looks to clinch his second consecutive championship when he drives his Multistack.com / Prolong Blown Alcohol Funny Car at the Nostalgia Reunion contested at Sacramento Raceway. The second generation flopper pilot from San Dimas, Calif. will welcome the group from Airco Commercial Services as Major Associate Marketing Partners for this event.

“We are very happy to have the assistance of Airco Commercial Services this weekend up at Sacto,” noted Martin, who enters this event following the team’s recent victory at the last NHRA Heritage Series 7.0 Pro race, held in Las Vegas earlier this year. “Airco is based in Sacramento and is a major part of our MagLev Retrofit Contractor program at Mulitstack. Being the Director of Centrifugal Development for Multistack provides me with the opportunity to ‘talk shop’ with these guys at the races and introduce them to the power of NHRA Heritage Series racing. We are honored to have them involved with our team at this event.”

Airco Commercial Services of Sacramento will co-host with Multistack a customer event at their facility on July 29th which will feature the Multistack Pro-long Alcohol Funny Car which was the NHRA 7.0 Pro Class Champion in 2009 and is currently the 2010 points leader. Airco is planning a BBQ, commemorative t-shirts, flash lights, educational retrofit presentations and a raffle for "pit access" and the opportunity to start the Multistack Funny Car that will be on site for the event. Rick Cooke, Airco Vice-President reported that they could see more than 100 clients and potential customers at the BBQ luncheon.

“The focus of the lunch and learn with Airco is to educate their customers and employees on our Mag Lev compressor technology,” noted Martin. “It is the HVAC industries first oil free technology which dramatically improves chiller performance and significantly reduces maintenance costs. This is a major opportunity for our team to showcase not only our partnership with Multistack, but also to introduce an entire new fan-base to NHRA drag racing.”

“It is very crucial to the success of our sport to bring in as many new fans as possible,” concluded Martin. “We are also very excited to see if we can wrap up the 7.0 title this weekend. We will need to go out there and give it our best effort though. There are several top Heritage Series racers who will be on-hand ready to knock us out. I am confident in our team and look forward to a great weekend of racing.”
