    5.507? That #1 might remain on that Monte Carlo in '08.

    i think we'll see a 5.47/264 before the weekend is out. as tony b would say, unbelieveable. not to mention he can cut a light every now and then.:eek:

    Thats a awsome run by Ace Manzo. I think he has a 5.40 in it also and there has to be 6.50 in pro stock also and maybe a few 4.60 in fuel funny car.

    looks like Jay Payne is close. said he was on a 5.56 run until he took the finish line cones out. but then again .06 is alot. Manzo is definitely the man.

    Frank is just a back breaker! Yes, Jay and Bob are right there, but just wait until the next sessions...just when ya think you are right there..BANG, he'll unload a mid 40 and killer speed! He and John Glade and crew work very hard, just like everyone else does. But Frank is a tough act to follow. It is really cool to see us, Div1 showing WE can take it to them, not just sit at home and wait for the Left Coast to show up here. Kill 'em Frankie!!!!!

    Frank has always been a steep ahead of every one, Back in the day( mid 70's ) he took the rotters out of an 8/71 blower and had a 5/8 spacer made up that went on the rear of an 6/71 blower, and wala, he was the first to have an 8/71 blower,home made no less, after that you know the rest of the story. alot of inovations came out of div 1. ;)

    I usually goto Pomona with Frank couldnt make it this year but Glade called me this morning and left me a voice mail said yea we are just a "bracket car" with the 5.50's so hopefully they will not have any prob's get 'em guys Frank, Michelle, John, Scotty, Fred & Ed

    The Ace keeps getting faster each run 5.50@264 is stout. I'm sure he will go faster yet this weekend and set more records before it's all said and done. :)
