I`m just about to assemble some new Manton Series 5 pushrods ( for our TFX/BAE fuelheads) and was a little qurious how others have done this.
I guess i should put the rod together in a hydralic press or...?
Do I need heat the pushrod to get the tip pressed in?
I doubt that is the right way to go..
Will email manton too, but I thought it would be interesting to hear some diffrent opinions/experiences on this..

there is a special reamer to ream the tubes to press them in...we have a full machine shop here for our race car, and I still like to send them to manton to have them do it;)..if in a bind I will do it myself...they do it for very little of nothing..Dave
