    Can you run a standard manifold on a 1/2 inch short deck block? If so what does it take to make it work?

    Manifold

    Your better off finding the correct deck manifold. I guess people can make anything work..... it is not like BBC where you can just add plates. I was in the same situation, there's guys around that will trade with you, etc.
