manifold seal

i have aj fuel heads that have the o rings around the ports and i have the rubber seals on each end of the manifold,,,,,, i have just put a little sealer on each end to stop any oil leaking out the ends but do i nee anything to stop the oil from comming up and onto the valve covers

 

Are you talking about manifold to cylinder head seal?
If so no you do not, but some use a little white grease on the metal surface of heads
