Mallory Mag IV Spark Plugs?

I have a Mallory Mag IV with 3.97Amp output. I know you are supposed to run about .016 gap, but which spark plug. I need one with a ground strap, so the NGK side cut ones are out.

 

we run a B10ES from NGK, they have a strap like a regular plug. you might want to open up the gap a little with a Mallory mag. i think we ran about .022 with a 5 amp Mallory. i am sure someone on here will remember better than i do. hope this helps a little

 

Excellent... I believe with the Mag I am going to run about .016 on the gap. You only hurt the coil if you open up the gaps. (That's my understanding from Don Zig)

 

mag IV 14-16 will work fine
