Solid marketing partners Muscle Milk, Brad Anderson Enterprises, Clean Boost, GRP Connecting Rods, and NGK Spark Plugs will be returning to Shields Racing for the 2022 season. Also coming back to the Muscle Milk A/Fuel dragster cockpit is Madison Payne who will drive at four national events including the upcoming Winternationals, the Las Vegas Four-Wide Nationals, the prestigious NHRA US Nationals, and the season-ending Auto Club Finals. Team owner Duane Shields will compete at the balance of eight national events and eight Lucas Oil Regional events.

Duane is happy to welcome back his loyal marketing partners for the 2022 season. "We are excited to bring back Muscle Milk, Brad Anderson Enterprises, GRP Connecting Rods, NGK Spark Plugs, and Clean Boost for another great year of NHRA racing in both national and regional markets across the country" Duane said.

Duane is also pleased to be sharing the driver seat with third-generation driver Madison Payne. "Madison is developing into a great driver and I'm happy to continue to mentor her. It's both rewarding and exciting to watch her continue to improve. She demonstrated last season that she has the instinct to know when to pedal and when to lift" Duane said. In addition to the four races on Madison's current schedule, she is actively looking for additional sponsorship so she can drive at even more events this season.

This year the Muscle Milk team will begin the season by competing in the Southwest at a combination of both national and regional events before a swing through Houston for the final Springnationals and then on to the East Coast beginning with the 4Wide Nationals in Charlotte. The Muscle Milk team will then compete throughout much of the Summer and early Fall in the Midwest and Eastern States before returning to the West Coast in late October.
