i have a new SAE KILL SWITCH and would like to trade for a double mag kill switch.
we have had poor results with the red mallory kill switch in the past- going fuel racing. The SAE is new in the pkg.

Call MSD and get the Capacitor that they offer .....it reduces the load from the coil, so you can use a normal "non-air" kill switch. It jumps right off the coil. We did! Brownman :D

    Brownman,
I have been using a standard 20 amp single throw
toggle switch to send power to the msd cap. and cap. to the 12v power lead to retard box. Some T/F
cars are useing the same for kill switch. However I am making test runs tomorrow without the retard box, and six shooter. Using the dual Mallory switch but don't like it as have had prob. in the past.
Are you saying you can put cap. between a 20 amp toggle sw. connected to ground and the pos. side on coils and it will work fine as kill sw. ????

I called MSD about using the cap. and toggle sw. to kill the 44's. They told they would not reccomend this. They do have a new solonid part # 8134 that you can use with toggle sw. if you have 12vdc available.

Right you are! I called it by another name, when we are using Pt#8134 (Kill Switch) You can reference it online at MSD catalog.page #6 It has the wiring diagram posted there also. Brownman! :D

Use the SAE switch, It will last alot longer than any other switch. there are alot of cars using them, just don't use it to start your car, and it will live forever.
