Lynn Nickerson Update

Sorry!! This is over due by about a month and a half. Lynn went to Frank Hawley's on December 29th and 30th. When I talked with him on the phone after his first couple of launches, his reaction was WOW!! I didn't know what you super comp guys went through he said. The car threw me back in the seat hard he said. Much harder than he expected, but I could tell he was pumped. He made his runs through 1000 feet, but likes a couple of full runs to earn his license, which he would still like to do. He told me he was having a little trouble with the car moving left a little on the launch but he was getting it back straight without lifting, but Frank wanted him straight from A to B. Lynn was out of time and had to catch his flight home and then head to Dennison to announce a motocross race. So like I said, he's a couple of runs short of his license but intends to follow up. I'll try to do a better job of keeping you posted.

I would like to thank everyone that helped with making this possible for Lynn. We recieved notes and checks from around the country from many that had come in contact with Lynn. Lynn has the notes, amounts, names and addresses of those involved. Once again, THANKS!!! All YOUR efforts whether great or small made this possible!

Thanks for posting that. Was great to hear Lynn was able to do that. What a great guy and some one I can aspire to.
