Have you/car you crew on, run a nitro motor (low compression 7-8/1) on straight alky? I understand some of the outlaw altereds run alky, small percentage of fuel or a good load (w/low compression) depending on the show they are booked into. thanks

I know of a 555 BBF that runs blown alky (8/71) with 8:1 compression. It runs fairly well. I don't believe they have ever 'gone after it', as they run an index class (9.60).

You can run as much as 40% nitro with that compression and 40 pounds of boost max.
