Can someone get me in touch with Dale VanGundy and or Keith Clark out of Aniheim CA.
I would like to discuss the history of their old Cuda-Challenger FC "Quarter Pounder'
    Thanks

Email me your name and phone number and I'll call Keith Clark for you. I don't feel comfortable giving out his phone number without his consent, but I'm willing to give him yours.

Talk about Diehard racers? I met them at Phoenix a few years ago. They come to the Track with Just one Motor and No spare. They are a Dying Breed.

I am not going to point my frustration at you directly but I take a lot of offence at your statement about “one motor, no spare”
Unless you are not financially challenged like me building, funding and running an alcohol car is a very big task for an independent, unsponsored team.
Yes maybe I am a dying bread as you state also, but we still enjoy what we do, we do the best we can with what we have at any given time, match race some of the worst tracks imaginable to help fund what we do. So if this is going to be a “Wealthy mans only sport” I pity the outcome.
There is more than one team out there doing what they love with no money, or at least no where near enough.
These are in my opinion real racers no just hobby seekers looking for something to spend their money on,
    End of rant

Wooh Hold the Phone! I wasn't taking a Slam on Van Gundy at all. Just the fact that they don't have the Budget to compete, yet still go out and have fun! I know full well how expensive TAFC is!

and you think just because someone has an alcohol funny car they automaticly have a couple spares and endless pockets. if you would walk around the pits you would be greatly disapointed . most of us run without any financial help and if your lucky you won't need either one of the 2 spare pistons or valves in our over abundance of empty trailer space!
