Lombardo, NAPA are “Good To Go” with Famoso & Top Gun D7 Wins

To help promote their upcoming "Good To Go" national sales campaign, NAPA Legend Batteries stepped up to the primary sponsorship position on John Lombardo Jr.’s Bob DeVour-tuned ’10 Monte Carlo Top Alcohol Funny Car. Lombardo began the campaign with back-to-back wins at the Division 7 NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series events in Bakersfield, Calif., and Fallon, Nev., and he will continue to take part in the promotion at all the races on his schedule through the Seattle event in August with additional support coming from NAPA Pro Series Starters, NAPA Gold Filters, NAPA Belts & Hose, Lucas Oil Products, NGK, Goodyear, Adaptive One Brakes, and Mechanix Wear. Lombardo will represent Division 7 at the JEGS Allstars special event during his next stop in Chicago. He is pleased that “Good To Go” promotion is coinciding with a period of impressive performance from his team.
"It has been an absolute pleasure to pilot the Good To Go/NAPA Pro Series car,” said Lombardo. “We've enjoyed running well, going rounds, and winning before – all of which I'm very thankful for – but the performance and consistency the crew has provided me and our sponsors over the last two races was remarkable.”
