Lombardo looking to move up in points

Going into the Auto Club NHRA Finals, the last race of the 2012 season, our Lombardo Racing, Napa Filters.com Top Alcohol Funny Car sits #8 in the NHRA regional points; John has a chance to advance to the seventh place this weekend.

John was the 2011 Division 7 Champion last year and has had a “building” year in racing thus far. As the season comes to a close the reflection of the two race wins this year in Phoenix, AZ and Noble, Ok the team would like nothing better than to end the 2012 Lucas Oil Drag Racing Division 7 series where they are currently in the number 2 position, on a winning note for the season closing finals.

Kicking off the weekend Lombardo Racing will be joining the NHRA to promote the upcoming NHRA finals and will have a display at the Dave and Busters located at 20 City Boulevard West, Bldg. G Suite 1 Orange, CA - 92868 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Wednesday November 7th. Not only will the race car be on display, John will be signing autographs and there will be free t-shirt and hat giveaways and race tickets for the weekend to some lucky raffle winners. Make sure you come out and join us at Dave and Busters where “It’s All Fun, Under One Roof!”

This weekend in Pomona the NAPA Filters team will also be running the Camo Cap special on the hood of our TAFC and special parachutes for NAPA Filters.com. The NAPA Filters Camo Cap promotion is a national campaign being run from November 15, 2012 ending December 31, 2012. See your local NAPA store for details!

Some exciting times are expected at the race track as John welcomes a great group of supporters from the Gates Corporation on Sunday for the final event. With a full weekend of displays, friends , family and spending time with all of our Sponsors we always look forward to Pomona!
