Liner/Tubes help

    Can i use non-beadlocks wheels without tubes/liners??? safety???

    its a small block 1200hp MAX...

    Centerline wheels screwed tires 16x16
    Hoosier 34.50 x 17 x 16

    any help apreciated...

    Don't get caught screwing.......your wheels

    I feel that the contact area and clamping forces of the liner to the tire/wheel assembly is much safer than relying on screws. If you have not studied a liner you should as the "teeth" built in to the outer lip of the liner keeps everything aligned as assembled. This method is proven and I am assuming that you don't want the extra weight of liners and the extra cost of beadlock wheels........tough decision.

    The main problem IS import the liners for next race...3 weeks from now...import tires over here are a mess...and i have the same wheel with beadlocks....but its from another car....my main concern if its safe for this range of horsepower....1000-1200hp....
