I bought two hemis and am new to the game been on this site a lot and have learned a lot, but still have many questions. I am now on lifter spacing, I have Brad 5 heads and I just measured the lifter bores and they are 1.8 space. I have already started the motor and the pushrods just touch the block at the bottom just a little, no pushrods rub the heads. my question is will this work? Does the lifter spacing need to be 1.9+?

You really should have the 2" spacing for the Fatheads but I knew a guy who used the 1.8" with fatheads and he just clearanced his block a bit, I think he had an older KB block.

    Best wishes,
