Thanks Mike, as I said - any time we're around come on over if you need anything! Was good to see you out there, too bad both our dragsters lost in the semi's, would've been cool to race in the finals!

    $2500 to win
    $1500 to the runner up.....

I heard Sitko hung first round and final round
opponents out, both rolled the beams waiting for Sitko.
and (no,..the tree had no 7 second rule.)

Definatly Dave Germains race to have won Dave had the field
    coverd by 2 tenths.

By the way what did you run in the finals Nathan ???

    Its in my blood,

First off - I'm a fair bit offended, thanks! I do not "hang people out" on the starting line, that IS NOT how I drive. 1st round opponent Brent Jones put on the stage light before either of us had a chance to bring the rpms up and he didn't roll the lights.

Final round there were errors made by both myself and Dave which caused it to take a few seconds longer than usual on my end (and no, it was not 7 seconds or more) and from the discussion Dave and I had right after his elbow had been hitting the chassis all weekend before full travel with the brake handle could be achieved.

We ran our car as hard as we had to, to make it to the final. We ran a 6.40-something first round, 6.29 in the semi's, and a 6.44 in the final where it would have probably run another high 20 if I'd have legged it out further in the gear shifts.

Payouts were $3000 winner, $1500 r/u, $1000 semi's, not sure what first round was.

    It's in my blood,
Raced against both of these guys. This link has been highjacked anyways.
The only statement should be "I saw....not I heard". I am sure Dave and Nathan did or could have discussed it at the top end. Our team was on the recieving end one of these so called deals and the video showed it was 5 sec not 7. Long time with the motor up but still..Play nice....

No worries guys- I had a brake adjustment issue all weekend- my fault. Nathan was a little slow but on the other hand I was pretty wound up and you know how time seems when you are excited. Ultimately whats done is done. I would classify the weekend as a learning experience. To quote a friend of mine from Wisconsin- no sweatski, buds. Dave Germain
