Length of top opening on 14-71

    Does the length of the top opening on a 14-71 affect its performance?

    For example, if the opening is 10" long vs 15" long, is the smaller opening significantly better? If so can anyone explain why?

    Blower opening

    Yes , the top ... and bottom sizes are directly related to the performance / power of a supercharged motor and should be considered in the actual set up for each engine and car combination.
