lencodrive vent

    switching to a lencodrive i have have been told it is tricky to vent without making a mess does anyone have good method that works and if so did you build your own tank or is it something that can be bought

    I used the small vent tank sold by Snyder....works pretty well....we might get just a small amount of mist out of it occasionally....mounted up behind the driver on a F/C style chassis.....one issue I see is that the vent line (#6 in my case) forms a trap at the bottom on the seat upright, so I put a Tee in the line at the low spot with a #6 cap to drain it....not every run, but every event....the idea behind this tank is for the fluid to drain back to the trans....I have heard that it is not a good idea to plumb the vent to the oil puke tank....

    I dont know about a lencodrive but if the overflow is a foaming problem in a oem transmission a couple quarts type F fix it.
