Lenco clutch parts

What, if any pros or cons are there to using Raybestos solid blue discs in my lenco clutch pack? I have always used the grooved standard discs, but came across a stash of raybestos blue grooveless discs. I would think without the grooves for oil displacement at the shift it may cause a slight engagement delay or heat build up. Anyone have any data or opinions concerning this.
