    wiring

If it is the box that starts on the mag + changes over to the crank trigger, I be-leave the wiring is on his site. Tried to contact him for 2 weeks. Gave up and went to the left coast. they answered the phone on the second ring. I guess he doesn,t need us little people anymore. Don

I know it. I had a note on my sheet that said when display goes blank it is activated and the throttle switch has to see ground. Of course I cant remember what the hell it all means.

    Leahy

I have always had pretty good luck contacting Dave Leahy. He usually answers the phone himself so he is pretty busy. My dual start timer is set up to start off a co2 pressure switch that is activated by the throttle and in my case the third gear shift for the second starting point. I bought a pressure switch to electrical switch that Leahy sells. I believe NHRA wants the timers started off a co2 switch. I will admit that Dave's instruction pages leave a little to be desired but once you figure his stuff out it's pretty bulletproof. Much simpler than a MSD timing controller. Sorry Mike Canter- I have a brand new one still in the box. Too many horror stories about figuring them out for me. I am not the brightest bulb in package. Dave Germain

I tried to wire it up like the 2 step on his site and it dont work for me. Display does not go blank if I understand correctly that means it is activated. maybe I need that air switch like you were talking about on my throttle.

i wired mine so when I want it to fire on the base of the mag, it needs 12 volts. so the 12volts is supplied to it by the starter button at the same time I send 12 volts to the starter solenoid.
