Kon Rodz Racing 2009 Preview

Kon Rodz Racing is pleased to announce that their team is expanding in 2009

We have just completed the purchase of Mark Thomas's 2 Ethanol Alcohol Funny car operation. This acquisition has been in the works for a while, but we kept the deal under wraps until we "inked" the deal. Mark and I are pleased to officially announce and share the good news with all of our racing fans.

This acquisition has rejuvenated and excited our Kon Rodz Team and I personally am extremely excited about our team's future for next year. In addition to this expansion we would like to announce the introduction of a new driver!! Mid Season we will be showcasing our new driver to the team, Cassie "Pebbles" Simonton, who will drive our new 2006 Monte Carlo. Cassie is 22 years old and has been drag racing for the past fourteen years. Her career includes the first eight years driving a "Junior" dragster and the last six years competing in a Top Dragster. Please join us in welcoming Cassie to our team who will be mentored by our existing driver Jason "the Viking" McKnight . Jason will be driving our new 2009 Impala and is pumped to commence the 2009 season. Our team is highly motivated and energized for the upcoming season with the recent car purchases. Confidence levels are high and we know that this will materialize into a successful 2009 racing season. Kon Rodz Racing is a team to watch out for next year and we will be competing in the NHRA at select events!!!!

Since we are saying goodbye to 2008 and welcoming in 2009 I feel it is appropriate to thank individuals who are instrumental to the Kon Rodz Team. Thanks are extended to: my Wife (Fay) and my son (Stefan) for their constant, loyal patient support. Continued thanks as well to my good friend Al Billes who is always there to inspire us. I wish my crew all the best for the 2009 season and recognize that Kon Rodz wouldn't be where we are today without your dedication and loyalty. Friends, family and fans.......thank you for always being there and believing in us!!!!
