I took my superman apart for maintenance. The gear on the left rotor has had the master spline changed then they moved the gear around about 3 teeth, this changed the timing.

    (1) why did they do that???

    (2) should i put it back normal???

    (3) what gear lubricant is used, it looks like royal purple in it???

    Thanks
    Randy

I would recommend going to the source. Call Jon Salemi at DMPE at 716.832.7583

Your question is hard to understand, maybe you should attach some pictures to make it more clear.

it might have banged a rotor one time or another..dave..also if I remember rite the dead man spline on them don't really mean anything, I think the gear will go on in several places..I have done quite a few k blowers and the spline was always like you are saying.. as for oil I alway recomend to us the same oil that you use in your motor

I think he is talking about the (blind spline) on the shaft. If the rotors aren't rubbing I would put it back the way it was. Best bet send it back to DMPE (Its hard to beat Mikes advice )
