Wayman Takes the Top Alcohol Dragster win in Fallon


Fallon, NV- Kevin Wayman, driver of the Team Strange Performance sponsored Top Alcohol Dragster, took the top honors at the Lucas Oil Division 7 race this past weekend in Fallon, NV.

Teammates Wayman and Jaren Mott, of West Jordan, UT based Strange Performance Automotive, started off the weekend by qualifying in the number one spot for Wayman and the number four spot for Mott.

In the first round, Mott’s opponent would be Sunland, CA based driver Chris Demke. Mott took the victory over Demke, recording a 5.78 second elapsed time in the process. Wayman drew a single in the opening round and idled down the track.

The second round paired the two team cars with the winner advancing to the final round. Mott held the advantage off the starting line but could not hold off the top end charge from Wayman’s 5.58 second ET. The final round paired Wayman against Dennis Swearingen, with a great 60ft time of .905 and a track record setting ET of 5.54 at 256.84 mph, Wayman captured his first win in the Top Alcohol Dragster Category.
