Just finished putting my KB into a S&W TAFC car I recently purchased. With the new chassis, there is an interfence fit with the KB oil pump and frame upright. On my old car, oil from the pan came into the pump from the mid plate side. With this chassis, the inlet fitting hits against the frame upright. With a 180 degree swivel, I "should" be able to re-route the plumbing from the pan to come into the pump from the forward side of the pump (same side as the filter IN/OUT lines). Any problems with that approach? It "seems" like a straight forward solution, but don't want to find out about some KB oiling nuance by hurting a motor.

    Thanks for your help.

Our SW fc has the uprights staggered as well, don't have a problem with our dry sump pump. If it were in the same location as the other side of the car though, it would interfere. I'd just move the upright ahead as well.
