KB liner rubber o-rings necessary?

    I just pulled my liners out of my KB stage 7 hemi and some had O-rings at the top & bottom of the liner, some just had them on the bottom. my question is because it's a dry block are these necessary?

    it helps keep the oil from coming up..do you need them?? I don't think so I have ran with and without ..Dave

    Same I have run with out them.
    Only thing was when you clean down the motor oil just keeps dripping.
