Who makes the best motor plates "Front and Rear" for a KB Hemi, preferably steel?

Who built your chassis?. If you are running couplers rather than U-joints you should have a chassis builder make them to make sure motor is dead nuts straight in chassis.

i'm no chassis builder but i have plated motors in dragsters before..... as long as one coupler slides in the other and the two front motor plates (left and right )are the same don't sweat it... by the left and right motor plates being exactly the same the motor is not angled in the frame as far as left to right nor is it twisted...i know a few damn good builders hang out here so if i'm wrong PLEASE correct me..... who here thinks the frame stays square when you let the clutch go at 6700 rpm???? mike

The best you can do is assure the motor is square in the chassis with an alignment fixture. As one of the previous posts said, at a 6700 RPM launch who knows? Also, with the motor being out far enough that you need to run a driveshaft with TWO couplers, front and rear, or a splined sleeve and a coupler, the old addage that "if the coupler will slide, it's OK" won't fly anymore. In the day of high gear shafts that were one piece from clutch discs to rearend coupler that was true. Of course that was before reversers. Henry
