Kate Harker earns TAD license with 5.35 blast!

    Kate Harker, daughter of Aussie TAFC racer Steve Harker, finished her TAD license today at the Texas Motorplex behind the wheel of Tom Conway's A/Fuel Dragster.

    Kate started licensing at Frank Hawley's Drag Racing School. She made 1 half pass (5.72- 223 mph at 1/8), 5.51 (cylinder out at the hit) and the final 5.355 at 258.

    She did a great job of getting the car down the track and learning the A/Fueler.

    ;) Congrats to my friend Kate Harker. She was very excited when I talked to her yesterday and it will be good for the sport and alcohol classes to have another female driver, not to mention an international driver. She comes from a great family and has a great deal of drive and determination. I'm sure she will be racing with us soon.

    congratualtions Kate! Great Job today. I have a bunch of photos from todays testing. I hope to get them up Wednesday Evening. Time to turn in for the night in Little Rock Ark lang way from home yet LOL.

    The test session was solely to get Kate's license. Callaway will be back in the car in Richmond.

    Thanks a bunch... it was a blast!!

    :p Thank you to everyone for your warm wishes of congratulations. I couldn't have asked for a better team or day to complete my TAD Licensing. I have received so much support from a lot of people and I am very grateful to those people. I look forward to catching up with everyone and to hopefully getting out on the race track next year, have to keep working hard to achieve this goal... always think positive!
    A very special Thank you to Tom Conway, Tracie Beller, Brandon Lewis and Brandon Pierce. For a team made up of race car drivers we did a fantastic job!
    I look forward to introducing my twin sister, Diana, to you all next year and I know she is very excited about joining the tour. Diana will be licensing next year as well.. poor dad, double trouble!!
