Just a thought...

Maybe the alcohol cars as a whole should take the initiative and start supporting the people that support us. How about:
*Larger "Lucas Oil" stickers on all alcohol cars.
*ESPN2 displayed on all cars. Maybe with a smaller "watch us on" above the ESPN2.
*Mention these people in your top end interviews

A lot of fans I have spoken with didn't even know we were televised on ESPN2. These people like to watch dragracing on TV,… if they know about it. If more people tune in maybe we get a better slot. If we get a better slot it might be worth more to Mr. Lucas or a different class/ series sponsor.
It might make it an easier sell to get individual sponsorships.

Let's look down the road.

I'm not that smart, but I will bet my bottom dollar theses car will NOT get any cheaper to run and there will be NO immediate gratification as far as purses go.

Tom thats a great idea! Maybe even post a air date schedule on a teams web site for the races they will attend. Also do more to show and promote your car like Rich Baily does!. many towns have "cruise nights" and I have seen Jake Crimmins show his AA/AM at our towns cruise night 3 times this past summer.

 

I agree Tommy, We should be more thankful for series sponsors and having a class to race in! After all T/AD TAFC and IHRA A/FC is as far as most of us can go on our own dollar!
