Joke Web Site?

    I thought when I signed on this site, it was about Top Alcohol racing and discussions, not a site for joke posting??

    Jokes are no longer welcome

    If there is enough interest I'll start a jokes section, but this is a site to talk about alcohol racing, not the joke of the day. I agree, it went from a few every now and then to several a day the last week or so.

    For the most part they have been clean, but inevitably someone is going to get on here and post something offensive, and this is a family site, so I think it's in our best interest to get back to talking racing..

    I for one liked reading the jokes and even copied and passed some on.
    A separate section for them is a very good idea if not too much work.
    Yes keeping it clean and in good taste and P-PG rated is necessary.
    You have to admit some of the jokes were down right funny, some were old, and so far none were offensive to me anyway.
    There was a thread about the dumbest thing you or a crew member did at the races a while back. It was good reading and I ever contributed a story. Being able to laugh at ones self keeps us humble.
    Lets not take life to seriously and enjoy a good laugh.

    So did you hear the one about the guy that put the rotors in his blower backwards ?

    I liked the jokes if I didnt want to read one I didnt,but the guys posting the jokes always were and are helpful with the race related posts and answers,a section for jokes and non related race stuff in a NON comercial area might be a good idea as long as it dosent get out of hand.

    No, I agree, some of them are funny. But it seems like for every serious post on the subject of our sport, there are five jokes. Will, maybe you could create a seperate post column for jokes? I'd probably visit it once in a while!!
