Jim Collins let go by NHRA

Just heard Collins was let go by NHRA !!! I'll bet there will be some record runs at the last few races?????

 

Let go? or quit? or just a rumor?

 

Regardless of the manner, a huge loss to both NHRA as an organization and its' various class competitors. We've come to know Jim this year more than any and he is the epitome of class in a job where your best day is everyone else's worst. Best of luck to JC in whatever he chooses to pursue!

We tried to bribe him with chocolate chip cookies, Diet Coke, bottled water, $20 bills. He wouldn't budge. One of the few guys left with real integrity on the job.

Just kidding about the bribes. I was always glad he was on the job making sure everyone was on the straight and narrow regarding the rules.

 

Sad if this is true....
Always liked Jim's honesty. It was hard to get a smile out of him at times, but was glad to have someone who was holding the games in check. He liked cheating as little as I did. Best of luck to you in whatever you do.
