Jegs AllStars and the Regionals...

So what happens to the Jegs AllStars and the Alcohol Classes? I like going when I earn the opportunity to represent my Division. NHRA has yet to mention how this will now work with the Regional stuff. Any ideas?
Also, with the addition of Phoenix to the Western Region schedule will one of the existing races be dropped or will we get 7 Regional events in the West?

as for your first question, yes the alcohol cars will still be a part of the all stars. They are discussing the top 2 out of each region plus 2 more chosen on some other accomplishment like defending champ and. Runner up or?
as for your other question, I havent heard.

I think this year they should just freeze the Division points because we aren't earning Division points anymore. Then the first race can start the total for 2013, like marty says, and take the top 2 from each region next year to make the 8 car field...

That is most definitely the best way to do it...
