Jeff Wilson to debut TAFC this weekend

Wilson Racing makes the switch to Funny Car

Winfield, Mo., This weekend's NHRA / Lucas Oil Division 3 Drag Racing Series event, at Indianapolis Raceway Park just outside of Indianapolis April 21st-123rd is in the first NHRA Lucas Oil Divisional Event for 2006 for Wilson Racing Top Alcohol Funny Car Team.

The Wilson Racing Team is looking forward to a new season in an all new and class. "We are very excited to have been able to make the switch this year to Top Alcohol Funny Car with an all new car from Spitzer Race Cars." stated Wilson. "The rescheduling of this event gave us the extra time we needed to finish this car the way we wanted to and not be rushed".

"Our entire team has worked very hard during the off season to prepare for this weekends Lucas Oil Division 3 opener, not to mention that fact that we have made a change in classes and build a brand new car from the ground up. We won the NHRA / Lucas Oil Division 3 Championship twice in the Dragster class and we would love to make the third time in the Funny Car class and winning the Division opener is a great way to start the series." stated Wilson.
