Veale signs Schepel Buick Pontiac GMC

Canada’s Jeff Veale Racing has signed an associate sponsorship with Schepel Buick GMC Pontiac for the remainder of the 2008 season. The deal comes on the eve of back-to-back events at Joliet’s Route 66 Raceway, The Torco Racing Route 66 Nationals and the Lucas Oil Division Racing Series’ third stop on the Division 3 trail.

Founded in 1968, the Merrillville, Indiana based dealerships is one of the largest high-volume dealerships in the Northwest Indiana region. In addition to Buick, Pontiac, and GMC, Schepel also operates Cadillac and Hummer dealerships at their Merrillville location. For additional dealership information, you can log onto www.schepelbuickpontiacgmc.com or www.schepel.com

“We are pleased to be associated with the Jeff Veale Racing team for 2008,” stated Tom Van Prooyen, Vice President of Schepel Buick GMC Pontiac. “This comes right before two events close to our Northwest Indiana location. We have had a good relationship with Brown Motorsports for several seasons, and look to continue that with them and Jeff Veale Racing.”

In addition to competing at the two Joliet events, Veale’s nitromethane burning A/Fuel Dragster will take part in one of Indiana’s largest custom car shows. Veale’s car will be on display, and will also thrill the crowd with a few pit warm-ups. The 13th annual Charity Custom Car, Truck, and Motorcycle show will take place at the Schepel dealership in Merrillville on Saturday June 21st. Free food and soft drinks will be available with 40 classes of custom cars on display.

Based out of the Indiana shop of Brown Motorsports, the team will compete at both Joliet events, and finish their month of racing at Norwalk, Ohio for the 2nd annual Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals, June 26–29, at Norwalk Raceway Park.
