How 'bout that Jeff Burnett. Number one qualifier, low et of the meet, track record, first run ever in the 5.60's for him...but he snoozed in the final and gave it away.

    Way to go, Jeff;)

Notice Randy's icon winking? I would bet that Randy and Jeff have talked privately and this is just some friendly needling. I would also bet that Randy and Jeff talked prior to him running in the 60's...Is that right, Randy?

I've given Jeff some "insights" in the past when he picked up the pace at Reading last year. He sold that car, bought this one from the Sickles/Anderson team and changed over to a bore/stroke combination like I run. And he ran very well considering the air and track temperature, don't you think?

I'm only an interested observer. :) Jeff is on his own and did a great job! I only wanted to point that out.

Jeff was very upset at himself when I talked to him last night. He clearly had the car to beat.

Way to go Jeff and crew! Awesome job by the aussie! 5.69 in 100 degree heat pretty impressive numbers. Great job by the two guys from St. Louis who were substitute crew members. Good luck to Jeff at Indy when he has his full time awesome crew back. This team can get it done!Keep up the good work!!!!!!!!

Forgot to mention GREAT JOB by JOE ROSE, burnetts clutch specialist. Joe pretty much had to do his job AND Dan And Kevins(the other two regular crew guys). Joe kept thing together for Jeff and allowed him to do his job. AWESOME JOB by the whole team!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    yellow monster

    hey jeff and team -

great weekend. i rolled it in a little too hard and knocked out the top bulb. i had a split second decision whether to back off the tree and stay green or just gun at the tree and take my chances. went ahead and got my first redlight out of the way...

even with the redlight i saw that yellow monster blow by me about 400 ft.

congrats on a great weekend, very impressive! good luck from the ATC Racing team!
