Does any one know where i can get jack and rams . I am tryng to build my own jacks

I am also interested in building some hydraulic jacks , any information would be appreciated i.e. measurements.of pipe, rams, controllers etc. I am sure someone else out there has built their own that could share their work.

prices on pumps and cylinders

 

You could use a porta power for the pump and ram , they have quick disconnect unions too so you don't have to keep jumping over the pump part of it when working on the car,

I have built several..I took a copy off of one and not going to say who's but you can go fig... as for the ram I called pro jack and had them send me the rams and it was the best price I could find..Dave

If anyone is interested, I build them in my shop in Edmonton, AB, Canada. I make them out of mild steel and sell them for $700.00 US per stand, pump is not included but i can supply one if needed for the cost of the pump only. I can also offer a discount if more than 4 are ordered at one time. We have one that we use on our 2700lb pro mod car so they are constucted very well. All welding is done by certified welders not back yard welders. The width can be custom ordered. If interested call 780-235-4296.
