We apologize for not getting the Houston picks up but here's our picks for Vegas this weekend!

TAD

1. Sean O'Bannon - Vegas Altitude will give the second year driver the upper hand for his first national win.

2. Chris Demke - Has one of the best running blown cars on West Coast. Look for him to be a threat to pick up the win.

3. Ashley Force - Judging from their performance at the past few events, look for the Darien & Meadows team to be in the thick of things.

4. Duane Shields - Playing a home game, so look for this team to be giving it their all. Should be a late round player.

5. Joey Severance - Last year's runner-up should have a good tune-up for Vegas.

6. Jack Beckman - Will be behind the wheel of the same car that Hillary Will dominated last year with. How quickly he can get back adjusted to the blown-alcohol driving style will determine how far he goes.

7. Steve Federlin - Needs a win here to get into the 2006 Championship hunt. Showed signs of resurgance in Pomona.

8. Bob Perkins - Always seems to run strong here. Our TAD 'Dark Horse' pick of the week.

TAFC

1. Jay Payne - Fell off in Houston big time with first round loss. Ran a 5.56 in testing on Monday. Should be back in the thick of things in Vegas.

2. Steve Gasparrelli - Hopes to make up for testing fire here with win.

3. John Weaver - Team has been on a tear recently. Will be a threat to win it all this weekend in Vegas.

4. Mark Woznichak - The 'Woz' had a very strong outing in Houston, should follow suit in Vegas.

5. Cy Chesterman - 2004 World Champ knows how to get it done in the altitude, will be a late round player.

6. Danny Townsend - Has really been hot lately, car runs 5.60's like a bracket car.

7. Brian Hough - Always a tough runner, Vegas will be no exception

8. Ron August - Has ran very strong on national surfaces, our TAFC 'Dark Horse' pick of the week.
