Memorial Day weekend is here. The 'What?' 500, no, it's time for the O'Reilly Summer Nationals at Heartland Park Topeka. ITA gives you a rundown of who's hot this weekend.

    TAD

    1. Randy Meyer - Meyer team will be playing a home game at HPT. After running low .30's like a bracket car in Dallas, should be the car to beat.

    2. Bill Reichert - 5.18, 5.21. Don't need to say much more.

    3. Gene Snow - Has really ran strong of late. Has the 'Big Mo' coming off a win in Shreveport.

    4. Aaron Olivarez - Back on a national event track, and mid 70's forecasted all weekend, look for the Armored Coatings team to be back in the thick of things.

    5. Steve Torrence - 'Steve O' behind the wheel of Tom Conway's machine should be a late round player.

    6. Hillary Will - Will be very interesting to see what all of that Bucky Austin HP does in decent air.

    7. David Wells - Hard to count out the Plain Vanilla gang. Should make a rumble in the field.

    8. Duane Shields - Houston win showed they are back. With a tough field expected, our TAD 'Dark Horse' of the week.

    TAFC

    1. Jay Payne - With Manzo and Newb off in D1 land, the Valvoline Thunderslug should be the car to beat.

    2. Jackie Stidham - Last year's All-Stars champ made the semi's in Houston, if he can get his problems fixed in time, should give the field a run for their money.

    3. Bucky Austin - The 'Northwest Hitter' is overdue for a win. Too much HP to keep him down.

    4. Cy Chesterman - Defending World Champ hasn't displayed the dominance he did last season. Would love to find it running at a D5 track.

    5. Mick Snyder - You don't hear anyone saying 'Aww, a torque converter, that's cute' in the pits anymore do you?

    6. Danny Townsend - ParkerTech/VIPSports.com machine has been very strong of late, especially with the assistance of Randy Anderson. Should be a late round player.

    7. Kirk Williams - Former D5 Champ has ran strong in the past, has fell off of late. Wouldn't surprise to see them back in the thick of things this weekend.

    8. Doug Gordon - Another car that has ran very strong in the past, but hasn't ran as strong of late. Too good of a team to stay down for long, our TAFC 'Dark Horse' pick of the week.

    Performances:
    TAD - 5.27/276
    TAFC - 5.58/257
