It's time for the tour to roll into 'Hotlanta' for this weekend's Summit Racing Equipment Southern Nationals. ITA gives you the rundown on who's hot going into this weekend.

    TAD

    1. Marty Thacker - After struggling much of last year, look for this team to make a serious impact in Atlanta.

    2. Guy Kelly - Always one of the top blown cars out there. Will definitely give the field a run for the money.

    3. Jeff Wilson - Isn't always the quickest car on the property, but seems to find his way into the late rounds nonetheless.

    4. Art Gallant - Has always seemed to have a good handle on what to do with a nitro car in the heat. Forecast calls for high of 77 on Sunday, wouldn't be a shocker to see this team in the winner's circle.

    5. Ashley Force - Darien & Meadows have more runs than anyone this year, and may be able to tame 'Hotlanta' with the Castrol machine.

    6. Mike Kosky - Crafty vet will sneak up on you and throw a number down when you're not looking. Should go a few rounds.

    7. Jeff Bohr - These guys know how to make it happen. Looked impressive at Indy divisional, could see more of the same this weekend.

    8. Artie Allen - This team is slowly becoming a contender. Won in Bradenton earlier this year with new Hadman mount. Our TAD 'Dark Horse' pick of the week.

    TAFC

    1. Frank Manzo - Part of our long-standing policy of not betting against Manzo. Still 'da man.

    2. Jay Payne - Payne's Valvoline Thunderslug is always right in the thick of things. Needs a win to keep his hat in the championship hunt.

    3. Bob Newberry - Mr. Consistency could really solidify his championship hopes with a strong showing here. No reason why we shouldn't see this Valvoline team in the late rounds.

    4. Danny Townsend - Arguably the most improved team this season with their new VIPsports.com sponsored Stratus. After a strong win at the Indy divisional and tuning assistance from Randy Anderson, look for these guys to shake up the field.

    5. Mick Snyder - Look for Snyder and the Lencodrive team break some hearts in Hotlanta. If he's on at the tree, this could get ugly quick.

    6. Chuck Cheeseman - Hard to count 'Chucky' out. These guys are hitters year in and year out.

    7. Mark Billington - Mark brought his 'big stick' to Gainesville, stepping up to the 5.60's and taking out some hitters en route to a runner-up performance. Look for more of the same in Atlanta.

    8. Todd Veney - This team is slowly becoming a threat, but what else would you expect from this dynamic Veney duo. Our TAFC 'Dark Horse' pick of the week.
